We're pleased to announce the Guest of Honor at JemCon 2008 will be Samantha Newark, the speaking voice of Jem & Jerrica in the Jem™ cartoon. Samantha will be appearing at JemCon and performing a few songs from her new CD live.

JemCon 2007: Showtime in Chicago was attended by almost 100 Jem™ fans from all over the world, including attendees from Holland and Scotland! The convention was held over September 28-30 in Chicago, and featured special guest Christy Marx, fan panels and workshops, displays which included rare prototypes and custom dolls, a catered Meet 'N Greet dinner, Jem™ Karaoke, and a fantastic Battle of the Bands Masquerade! In addition, the JemCon 2007 Charity Auction raised over $1000 for The Harbour, which provides crisis care for adolescent girls and young women in the Chicago area.

Announcing the designated charity for JemCon 2008 is Olive Crest Homes and Services for Abused Children . We will be having a charity auction to benefit Olive Crest, and be collecting school supplies for the Olive Crest foster kids. Click here for more information!
